Well the kids are out of school, the temperature is hot, hot, hot, and I am still at work. Not much time latley for play. It was Boy Scouts this Boy Scouts that this weekend and I got too much sun!
I hope you all took time to reflect on the meaning of Memorial day this weekend.
We planted flags on grave sights, planted plants at the memorial garden and had the official dedication to the American Legion Kirby Post 24 this weekend.
Then lots of food and antics (thanks to Tommy) at Moms house for dinner. The watermelon was delish!

seeing the kissing Soldier finally was a blast!
Macy and I really enjoyed Selby Gardens in Sarasota Fl. It was breathtaking. I only took 342 images while I was there. We were both facinated by all the beautiful plants and flowers we saw. If you get a chance to go, do it! It will be a relaxing day out with your family!
These were taken with my Lensbaby. I finally am starting to get the hang of the accordian style lens. Its great for exteme closeups.
I love the Banion trees. The are amazing!
This flower was about 2 feet tall and was about 10 inches wide. It was huge!
